Green Energy Doors Open a Great Success!
We had an amazing turn out for our Green Energy Doors Open Event at our Beechwood Deep Energy Retrofit last weekend. We had over 120 visitors with lots of familiar faces. Previous and current clients, as well as industry professionals and the curious general public came by. We actually had a line up before we were even open! Our visitors were treated to a tour by either Chris, Steven or Connor and who asked many great questions. The home owners, Maria and Andrew, also pitched in by hosting a few tours themselves and shared their experience and motivation for being committed to high performance building.
The day was also special as it was Steven’s birthday and he was kind enough to spend it giving tours of his work site. To mark both his birthday and the recent remarkable ACH measurement of 0.44, a cake was in order to celebrate both accomplishments!
We would like to thank all who attended, OSEA for organizing a great event and Maria and Andrew for allowing us to showcase their home. Next up: we find out on Thursday, Oct. 16 if our project is awarded the Innovation in Sustainability award from the CaGBC GTA Chapter’s annual awards!
