GH Wins 2014 Innovation in Sustainability Award
We are incredibly proud to announce that our Beechwood project won in the Innovation in Sustainability category for the CaGBC GTA Chapter’s annual awards. We beat out some heavy competition from Toronto Atmospheric Fund and the Harbourfront Centre. Steven and Chris accepted the award and the homeowners, Andrew and Maria attended the gala as well.
We are thankful for our collaborators – Sustainable Edge and the project architect, Open Architects, whose expertise and vision helped make this project happen. We are also thankful for homeowners who are strongly committed to building a high-performance home. It has been a highly collaborative effort that has inspired and will continue to inspire many others to push the expectations of residential building performance.
The awards were created by Brothers Dressler, who use responsibly sourced materials to design and build bespoke furnishings.
