Greening Homes is a licensed and fully insured green renovations contracting firm based in the Junction Triangle area of Toronto, Ontario.
Generally, and in keeping with our mandate to reduce our environmental impact as much as possible, our service area is limited to accessibility by public transit (TTC).
Greening Homes has the expertise to ensure that your home renovation is beautiful, long-lasting, healthy, energy efficient, and completed with as little environmental impact as possible.
We have established relationships with like-minded professionals in every aspect of the building and renewable energy field. As experts in green building, we select our materials according to our sustainable building materials filter. Greening Homes cuts through the “greenwashing” and provides educated, honest appraisals of the sustainable building options available to all our clients.

The Sustainable Project Management Report
As part of our on-going mission to educate about the environmental impact of the building industry, at the conclusion of a project Greening Homes provides each client with a customized Sustainable Project Management Report. This detailed report, unique to the industry, is comprised of three sections:
- Materials Report – A comparison of the materials used in your renovation to those that would normally be used. We assess these materials according to our sustainable materials filter.
- Waste Report – A detailed summary of the waste created by the project, and how much was diverted from landfill.
- Transportation Report – We detail our attempts to save on carbon emissions from carpooling and public transit use and approximate the total amount of emissions saved over the length of your project.
