Announcements, Awards

Greening Homes is incredibly proud to announce that our Beechwood Deep Energy Retrofit has been selected as one of three finalists in the Innovation in Sustainability category for the CaGBC’s Toronto Chapter Innovation in LEED Awards. Toronto Atmospheric Fund and Harbourfront Centre were the other two finalists. This annual event recognizes best-in-class projects and programs working to improve the built environment.

We are thankful for our collaborators – Sustainable Edge and the project architect, Open Architects, whose expertise and vision helped make this project happen. We are also thankful for homeowners who are strongly committed to building a high-performance home. It has been a highly collaborative effort that has inspired and will continue to inspire many others to push the expectations of residential building performance.

The CaGBC Greater Toronto Chapter Gala will be will be held on Oct. 16 at the Arcadian Court.

You can tour this project on Saturday, Oct. 4, as it is being showcased as part of OSEA‘s Green Energy Doors Open Event.
